Instead of continually complaining about the exploitation of urban culture and the messages being promoted in the mass media, NERSOUND provides positive alternatives and uplifting content produced to the highest standards using the latest in digital media technology. NERSOUND is also providing business development opportunities for aspiring artists and audio professionals by creating public/private partnerships with HBCUs that: 1) help HBCUs build curriculum-based, workforce training programs, 2) prepare youth for careers in digital audio media technology, and, 3) promote the HBCU experience as a viable education alternative for future entrepreneurs.
